top / htop 等CPU占用率查看工具是通过累计系统时钟中断tick数目的方法来实现的。当在一个时钟中断周期内(1/Hz) 发生了多次进程调度的时候,这种 “加法” 的统计方法就会变得不准确。

按照Linux内核CPU占用率的“加法” 方法。在上面例子的第1次和第2次时钟中断期间,内核漏掉了进程B的运行。在第2次和第3次中断期间,内核又漏掉了进程A的运行。

 

dtop 是一个基于RUST语言编写的工具。其设计是基于 “减法“原理。dtop会在系统中每个CPU上运行一个“浸泡”线程,占据全部CPU。当有某些workloads被调度运行时,CPU算力被从这些“浸泡”线程让渡。“浸泡”线程所减少的CPU占用则为这些workloads实际占用的CPU资源。该测量方法十分精确,有效地避免了 调度时间间隔小于系统时钟中断间隔造成的统计不准确。

  2020年9月28日,“雪龙2号”破冰船靠泊于上海长江口的极地码头,宣告为期76天的中国第11次北极科学考察任务圆满结束。物理海洋实验室成员王晓宇博士、海洋与大气学院博士后刘一林参与了本次科考任务,承担了北极环境调查中的冰下海洋长期自动观测、海雾走航探测以及冰站海冰(融池)光学观测任务。其中,所布放应用于冰下海洋长期自动观测的冰基海洋剖面浮标(英文简称DTOP)和应用于海雾观测的极区海雾光学探空仪,皆来自海洋试点国家实验室山东省重大科技创新工程专项“‘透明海洋’技术创新工程”子项目“南北极透明海洋科学和技术体系构建(2018SDKJ0104)”的资助。  截至目前,布放于北冰洋中央冰区内的DTOP工作状态良好,以一天2次的观测频率实时传输温盐剖面数据,目前已获得温盐剖面超过140个。从已获取的温度、盐度随漂流轨迹的变化来看,该浮标可以清晰地捕捉到冰下上层海洋在秋季海冰恢复冻结时的混合层加深过程以及由此带来的海洋冷却失温。此外,在冷却尚未影响到的次表层,则可以看到北冰洋不同环流流系带来的温度、盐度和密度空间差异。初步的观测结果表明,该浮标既可以刻画北极上层海洋的季节变化,也可以揭示北极水文环境的空间差异,成为未来构建中国北极实时观测网的重要保障技术之一,这也标志着实验室和学校继续向着实现“冰下海洋透明”的目标稳步前进。图:2020年中国第11次北极考察期间于86°N长期冰站布放冰基海洋剖面浮标(DTOP)  本航次在北冰洋中央区遭遇冰面融池过多、海冰破碎严重的不利冰情,对于DTOP的布放以及随后浮标在夏季融冰期的存活都造成极大的挑战。在科考队周密的计划安排和坚持不懈的搜寻下,最终通过全体队员的密切配合与努力,成功在86°N的北极中央区找到相对理想的浮冰并顺利完成布放。图:红圈标示了最终选定的剖面仪布放位置,位于轻微隆起的冰脊之上,从而减少海冰破碎对仪器安全造成的威胁图:采取直升机吊运的方式运输浮标主体结构,避免雪橇拖曳重物经过融池和冰裂隙时引发危险图:截止至2020年10月14日,冰基漂流浮标随海冰在北冰洋中央区的漂流轨迹,右图为浮标除DTOP外,由实验室极地团队自主研发的新型极区海雾光学探空仪也首次应用于北极中央航道海雾监测。该探空仪采用全新的独立通道滤光技术,同时可以获得5个分谱段以及一个总谱段的太阳短波辐射强度。较2018-2019的初代型号,新型的海雾探空仪在数据精确度、系统稳定性以及低空协调性等方面均获得显著提高。第11次北极考察期间对北冰洋中央航道海域的海雾雾情及其光学衰减性质展开集中观测,探空作业39次,累计获得35个有效光学探空剖面,为揭示海冰减退背景下北极航道海雾垂向结构变化、研究北极大气边界层内能量吸收和分配过程等科学问题提供关键性数据。该新型海雾剖面仪在北冰洋气象观测领域的成功应用,彰显了实验室和我校在极区多学科综合观测系统和装备研发方面的深厚实力,为未来南北极海-冰-气多圈层协同观测网的建立打开坚实的技术基础。图:第2代海雾光学探空仪的结构、实物图以及在北极中央航道海雾监测中的现场应用  此外,在第11次北极考察队的大力支持和帮助下,实验室还借助短期冰站和长期冰站开展海冰光学和融池热力学观测。当前发生在北极的快速增暖过程并没有减缓的迹象,随着北极夏季气温升高、积雪融化,即使在北冰洋85°N以北的中央区内部,其海冰表面形态也呈现融池、冰脊、冰面大面积共存特征。而这三者的相对覆盖率以及各自结构制约了对冰面整体反照率和透射率大小的评估,这为揭示北冰洋海-冰-气边界层内的能量收支以及与此相关的气候效应带来了挑战。而对这些不同冰表面的光学特性进行测量,并借此对比、优化海冰数值模式中的相关参数化方法,将有助于改善海冰模式的模拟结果,提高海冰预报模式的准确度,从而服务北极科学研究和航道利用。图:使用刻度钎对表层已冻结的融池深度开展观测背景介绍:由于海冰的存在,对极区海洋开展水文观测主要依托破冰船来进行。特别是在冬季极夜期间,北冰洋内的水文资料非常匮乏。而对于距离两极相对较远的我国来说,高昂的船只成本、有限的活动区域以及固定的调查时间均限制了对极区水文资料的获取。因此,发展一套可以在两极冰区使用的海洋剖面自动观测系统是对当前极地海洋观测领域装备短板的重要补充。目前,国际上应用最为成熟的系统是美国伍兹霍尔研究所的冰基拖曳浮标(ITP),此外法国推出的IAOOS浮标也获得广泛认可。而中国、韩国、日本等国也相继投入人力和资金用于研发可以实时传输的极区水文气象浮标。实验室极地团队最早于2013年开始冰基海洋浮标的研发工作,并于2014年中国第六次北极科学考察期间布放了首次2个样机。由于北极冰情海况复杂、天气条件恶劣,且缺少对故障浮标进行回收研究的机会,这对前期的浮标研发带来了极大的困难。在中国海洋大学和海洋试点国家实验室科研人员的不断努力和推动下,维持每年平均约2套的样机测试和布放,积累了丰富的技术和现场经验,为研究两极冰下海洋的时空变化以及海-冰-气相互作用过程提供了关键数据支撑。

How Decals & Transponders Work

The transponder, also known as a User Fee, is a sticker that contains a radio-frequency identification chip (RFID technology) that transmits information about a vehicle and border crossing User Fee payment status. The transponder is attached to the windshield of a commercial vehicle and should remain on the vehicle for the life of the transponder (up to 10 years), even if the vehicle is sold. An annual User Fee expires on December 31st of its issue year, but the transponder may be used for multiple years (renewed) if the annual User Fee is paid for each of those years.

Decals are stickers that are placed on all private aircraft and private vessels (30 feet or more in length) as proof that the User Fee for entry into the U.S. has been paid for the calendar year. Any arriving vessel or aircraft that does not have an annual decal will be required to pay the non-refundable User Fee and complete an application, which will be forwarded to the processing center. The application will be processed, and a decal will be mailed from the processing center. A decal expires on December 31st of its issue year. A new decal is issued whenever the decal is renewed.

What Web Browsers are fully supported by the DTOPS website?

The current $205 annual User Fee paid when ordering a commercial vehicle transponder is comprised of two fees, $100 that is retained by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and $105 that CBP collects on behalf of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) to recapture costs associated with conducting agricultural quarantine inspections (AQI) at U.S. ports of entry. On December 28, 2015, the APHIS portion of the annual User Fee will increase to $301.67. The total annual User Fee will be $401.67 per commercial vehicle.

Pursuant to 5 U.S.C. §552a(e)(3), this Privacy Act Statement serves to inform you of the following concerning the collection of information on the Decal and Transponder Online Procurement System (DTOPS) website for the payment of user fees for commercial vehicles, private aircraft and private vessels.

AUTHORITY: Collection of the information solicited on this form is authorized by the following:

Consolidate Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985 (COBRA) (P.L. 99-272) authorizes U.S. Customs and Border Protection to collect user fees for various services.

PURPOSE: The purpose for soliciting this information is to allow the purchase of border-crossing transponders or decals for commercial vehicles, private vessels and aircrafts, and to allow the payment of the commercial vehicle single crossing user fee via the secure DTOPS website. The DTOPS website provides a convenient method to pay for either a border-crossing transponder or decal or a single crossing user fee. Paying online via DTOPS improves wait times by allowing carriers to pay the user fee online prior to arriving at the border.

ROUTINE USES: If you choose to provide the information solicited on this form, CBP will use the information to provide you with a DTOPS user account. The personally identifiable information (PII) that you provide will not be shared with other government agencies unless they are a Participating Government Agency (PGA), pursuant to an International Trade Data System (ITDS) Memorandum of Understanding, consistent with the receiving agency’s legal authority to collect information pertaining to and/or regulate transactions in international trade. Additionally, CBP may share the information with law enforcement of other government agencies as necessary to respond to potential or actual threats of terrorism, or otherwise required by law as a “routine use” pursuant to its published Privacy Act system of records notice (DHS/CBP-002 - Global Enrollment System SORN, January 16, 2013, 78 FR 3441).

DISCLOSURE: Providing this information is required for those commercial truck, private vessel or aircraft carriers who voluntarily choose to pay online the annual transponder or decal, or the single-crossing user fee. Carriers that choose not to purchase an annual transponder or decal or to pay the user fee online will continue to have the option to pay the user fee upon arriving at the port. By submitting your PII in applying for a DTOPS account, you are giving CBP permission to use the information for a specific, stated purpose, i.e., to obtain the benefits of creating a DTOPS user account.

Cristallo is an open-source web-based digital twin operational platform (DTOP). User interaction is currently provided via webforms. This version works best on a standalone machine, and is primarily aimed at demonstrating how this type of digital twin can be applied to a specific engineering application. In this code, the application structure is a 3-storey structure.

Disclaimer: The repository does not include code for recording data, because of the hardware-specific nature of such code. In the spirit of demonstrating the concept, data is either simulated or in some cases pre-recorded experimental data is used.

Installation

The DTOP runs on any machine with a modern browser. There are no proprietary barriers preventing users to access the software.

This section will guide you through a few main steps to install Cristallo on your machine. Cristallo is powered by Python 3, so before you begin, make sure you have Python 3 installed on your machine.

Best performance with python 3.8+

Download

Download or clone this repository on your local machine. For a visual walkthrough on how to download and run, visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-l04b4dEypo

Skip the following instructions if you are familiar with GitHub.

If you don't have git and a Github account, just click on the code green button at the top of this page and hit Download. This will zip and download the code in your designated downloads folder. Then, open a code editor in the unzipped downloaded folder.

If you have git but not a Github account, or if you don't have Github SSH keys, then clone the repo with:

git clone https://github.com/Digital-Twin-Operational-Platform/Cristallo.git

If you have GitHub SSH keys you know what you are doing and you can move ahead.

Virtual environment

Before we install the required dependencies, we need a new virtual environment, i.e. a safe copy of your installed Python distribution.

But why? Python 3 is often used by your machine to perform essential tasks. Creating a virtual environment will prevent installing dependencies that your OS does not need, which can conflict with your computer system (a.k.a. dependency hell). In other words, the Python used by your OS will be fully orthogonal to the Python used in your project.

To create the virtual environment (1) locate the executable of your Python3 system distrubution, and (2) invoke the following CLI command:

python3 -m venv venv

If your Python3 distribution is not in your PATH, you may need to replace python3 with the full path. For example on Windows:

C:/Users/mda/AppData/Local/Programs/Python/Python39/python.exe -m venv venv

or on MacOS:

/usr/local/bin/python3 -m venv venv

This will create the folder venv in your current directory. This folder need not be located inside the downloaded repository.

If you go ahead and create the venv folder in the downloaded repository then make sure it is detached from version control.

Activate your virtual environment

From the same directory, invoking the following command will activate the virtual environment:

MacOS/Linux:

source venv/bin/activate

Windows:

venv\Scripts\activate

Successful execution of the above CLI command will result in the prompt displaying the name of the environment venv before the prompt line, as such

MacOS/Linux:

# MacOS/Linux

(venv) cristallo %

# Windows:

(venv) C:\cristallo>

Dependencies

There are four main dependencies that need to be installed separately:

Flask

Scipy

Plotly

Wtforms

We can install these dependencies by pip install. pip will take care to install all the related dependencies that these packages need in order to function.

(venv) C:\cristallo> pip install flask scipy plotly wtforms

pip install flask will automatically install the following:

zipp, MarkupSafe, colorama, Werkzeug, Jinja2, itsdangerous, importlib-metadata, click, flask

pip install scipy will automatically install the following: numpy, scipy

pip install plotly will automatically install the following: six, tenacity, plotly

You can also install all the dependencies in one go with the following CLI command:

(venv) C:\cristallo> pip install -r requirements.txt

In requirements.txt all the individual dependencies are spelled out in a list. This file is a snapshot of the list of dependencies at a particular point in time, i.e. the moment the requirements.txt was created.

At this particular moment (April 2022) the requirements.txt looks as follows:

This is how requirements.txt is supposed to look like for the current version of the project.

Using the pip install -r requirements.txt CLI command is only reccommended to install the dependencies if your venv is set up correctly.

Running the Flask server

Finally, we can give Cristallo a go by starting the Flask server.

# MacOS/Linux:

(venv) cristallo% export FLASK_APP=run.py

(venv) cristallo% export FLASK_DEBUG=1

(venv) cristallo% flask run

# PowerShell (Windows)

(venv) C:\cristallo> $env:FLASK_APP=run.py

(venv) C:\cristallo> $env:FLASK_DEBUG=1

(venv) C:\cristallo> flask run

# Windows:

(venv) C:\cristallo> set FLASK_APP=run.py

(venv) C:\cristallo> set FLASK_DEBUG=1

(venv) C:\cristallo> flask run

The successful excecution of this CLI sequence will start the flask server, which will output the following console message:

* Serving Flask app 'run.py' (lazy loading)

* Environment: production

WARNING: This is a development server. Do not use it in a production deployment.

Use a production WSGI server instead.

* Debug mode: on

* Running on http://127.0.0.1:5000 (Press CTRL+C to quit)

* Restarting with stat

* Debugger is active!

* Debugger PIN: 169-144-882

Now you can navigate to the URL http://localhost:5000/ via your browser to access the DTOP.
